As Founder and CEO, Doug leads our team’s vision for client service as we help our clients strengthen their financial foundation and enjoy their best retirement. He believes that the most effective client experience centers around each person and family’s unique needs. He works closely with our clients to help them create forward-looking wealth strategies while integrating solutions for their breadth of priorities. Across his support, Doug’s goal is to help each person we serve thoughtfully prepare for their future and retire their way.
Doug brings 15 years of wealth management experience to Integrated Wealth Solutions. Prior to forming IWS, Doug worked at TerraWealth as Vice President. Further, he worked in the manufacturing industry in sales management and is a veteran of the Navy, having served in Desert Storm. From these experiences, Doug gained a vast understanding of how direct communication aligned with tenacity and strategic thinking must unite to create the best outcomes. With a coach’s mindset, he fell in love with the financial services industry because it offers him the ability to genuinely help people and guide them toward sound decisions. He deeply enjoys understanding who his clients are and having the opportunity to come alongside them as a trusted advisor.
Doug believes that financial education is one the top needs clients face along their wealth management journey. In every advisory step, he takes a consultative approach to problem-solving, and thoughtfully and clearly explains complex financial topics. His candid nature and team-led mindset encourage clients to be proactive in addressing concerns, asking questions, and fulfilling their life vision.
Doug lives in York, PA, with his wife, Michelle, who is also our team’s co-founder and COO. Together, they have four children and five grandchildren. In his free time, Doug enjoys staying active by working out, playing golf, and being in the great outdoors. He and Michelle also love any opportunity to travel. An active community member, Doug previously coached high school football for 10 years.
